Virtual Back-to-School Drive

July 3–20

Every year, some students go back to school without basic supplies. In partnership with The Place of Forsyth, we can help ensure that under-resourced students in Forsyth and Dawson County schools have the tools they need.

Two Ways to Support Local Schools

Make a Difference Financially

The easiest way to make a difference is with a financial contribution.

  • Each $31 contribution will provide a set of school supplies for one elementary school student.

  • Each $35 contribution will provide a set of school supplies for one middle or high school student.

Donate a Backpack

If you're a Waumba Land or UpStreet family, you can also donate a new backpack.

Drive up and drop off a new, empty backpack at the church on Sunday, July 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Signs will point you to the drop-off location. If you are unable to participate at that time, collection boxes will be set up under the portico through July 19. Stop by and leave a backpack in the collection box anytime that’s convenient for you.
